Dr Asmono Truong graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours from the University of Sydney in 2004, during which he received prizes in both operative dentistry and pharmacology. He has completed a further Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Implants) at the University of Melbourne with a Weighted Average Mark in a category of Honours, and has attained certificates from the Dental Implantology Academy in Advanced Surgical Techniques, Advanced Implant Restorations, and Full Arch Solutions.

With extensive experience in all forms of general dentistry, Dr Truong desires to assist his patients in achieving and maintaining their oral health via the best possible means with respect to their individual circumstances. Throughout his career he has held various roles in policy, mentoring and leadership at both local and national levels. He is a current clinical tutor at the University of Melbourne for the next generation of dental practitioners.

Dr Truong is a member of the Australian Dental Association, International Team for Implantology, and Australasian Society of Osseointegration.

Outside of dentistry, Asmono holds a Master of Arts in Creative Writing and has a passion for music, literature, nature, food, fitness, and spending time with family and friends.
